Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor in the  Business, Government, and the International Economy unit at Harvard Business School and a Research Affiliate at LEAP and CID

My work is at the intersection of development economics, economic history, and political economy. I focus on Africa and I study how colonial policies persisted and shaped current economic development, with a focus on emigration patterns, as well as how cultural traits and economics intertwine.

I received my Ph.D. from Harvard in 2023.

My CV is available here.
